What to expect at a new patient appointment
Office tour to give you and your child an overview of our space
X-rays, exam, gum evaluation, imaging, and an oral cancer screening
For pediatric appointments, we will provide your child with a dental cleaning
For orthodontic appointments, we will work together to devise a treatment plan for your child given their unique needs
Discuss with you and your child the importance of diet and oral hygiene to the health of your child’s smile
Schedule any follow-up appointments and answer any treatment or financing questions you have
What to bring to your child’s first appointment
- Your driver’s license or state ID
- Insurance information or card
- Any information or observations about your child’s health
- Any questions you have about your child’s oral health

At smiLee, we believe that every child deserves quality pediatric dental and orthodontic care, and we want to work with each family to make that possible. As a convenience, our office will submit to most dental PPO plans whether in or out-of-network. If you have questions about your available insurance benefits at smiLee, please call our office at (239) 329-6006 or email us at Happy@DrSmiLee.com with your insurance information. We will gladly verify your insurance benefits prior to your visit. If you are deciding to purchase an insurance plan individually or through an employer, please use this information to help select the plan based on your specific situation. We also provide an in-office pediatric dental membership plan for families without dental insurance.
Additionally, we offer flexible down payment and monthly payment options for orthodontic care. Please call our office at (239) 329-6006 or email us at Happy@DrSmiLee.com, and we will be happy to provide an estimate for your visit.

We understand that insurance plans are expensive and confusing. In an effort to make dental care more accessible to you and your child, we offer an in-house pediatric dental membership plan.

$400 annual fee includes:
- 2 Dental Exams
- 2 Cleanings
- 2 Fluoride Treatments
- Any Necessary Films
- 1 Emergency Visit
- 15% discount on all other services, excluding orthodontic services
- $375 for each additional family member
